A therapeutic experience that offers a powerful opportunity for growth and healing. This intensive workshop may be right for you If you struggle to have regular therapy sessions or you feel like even with the rapid processing that EMDR offers, you are making slow progress.

EMDR is a technique and psychotherapy process that helps individuals heal from symptoms and emotional distress that are a result of overwhelming and disturbing life events. Many have gotten relief from symptoms that have been interfering with their quality of life.

The EMDR intensive typically involves three consecutive days of EMDR therapy with both morning and evening sessions, allowing for at least a 5-hour “brain break” between sessions to allow for integration. Friday evening from 4pm to 6pm, Saturday morning from 8am to 10am and then again in the evening from 4pm to 6pm, and finally Sunday morning from 8am to 10am and ending in the evening from 4pm to 6pm. Times may be adjustable, please discuss this prior to registering.

Three ways to qualify for the workshop:

1) You are already a client of Jamie English, LCSW, and have been assessed as a good candidate for an EMDR intensive.

2) You are a client of another therapist and have signed a release for a joint assessment between your therapist and Jamie English, LCSW, to determine if you would be a good candidate for an EMDR intensive.

3) You schedule an assessment with Jamie English, LCSW, prior to registering for the EMDR intensive.

How much does it cost?

With 10 hours of therapy in a short period of time, you achieve the equivalent of a minimum of 3 to 6 months of therapy, utilizing EMDR that is already a rapid therapy technique. You experience shifts and changes in neural pathways that will benefit you for years to come. The value of this intensive is a minimum of $1250 (at the standard rate of $125 per hour).

The cost for the EMDR Intensive workshop is:

  • $650 if paid in one payment
  • 2 payments of $350 ($700)
  • 3 payments of $250 ($750)

Note—cancellation with less than a week’s notice may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.  Payment is due for the entire workshop, even if you are unable to complete the workshop. If something comes up during the workshop and you are unable to complete, discuss with Therapist to see if an adjustment can be made. Best intensive results occur if you attend all five sessions.
