Word of the Year

You've no doubt heard some buzz about having a word for the year, a word that is your focus all year long...and this is a practice I've done for the past 3 years and believe is worth continuing in 2014.  Now, I can be a little "woo woo" and would say the words each year found me.  In fact, the one for 2014 presented itself and I kept overlooking it.  At first, it seemed like a "harder" word, but it kept presenting itself.  As I accepted it as my word for the next year, it changed into something that is quite beautiful.  My word for 2014 is.....

SURRENDER

And even in the selecting of the word, I got a taste of surrender.  You could say I surrendered to the word, since I was at first resistant.  Then, almost like magic, it morphed into something quite beautiful!  I look forward to seeing the word teach me over the year!
